Watch the latest weather update here ⬇️ 5PM Latest Weather Update TROPICAL CYCLONE ADVISORY NO. 9A Typhoon NANMADOL Issued at 5:00 PM, 15 September 2022 Valid for broadcast until the next advisory at 11:00 PM today GENERAL OUTLOOK FOR THE FORECAST PERIOD • NANMADOL is forecast to move west northwestward today through tomorrow, then turn northwestward on Saturday. On the track forecast, it may enter the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) region tonight or tomorrow morning. Once inside the PAR, the domestic name “JOSIE” will be assigned to this tropical cyclone.  • This tropical cyclone intensified into a typhoon at 2:00 PM today. Further intensification is forecast to occur throughout the forecast period. • This typhoon is forecast to remain far from the Philippine landmass and not directly affect the weather condition in the country.
