KINDERGARTEN WEEKLY HOME LEARNING PLAN (WHLP) || 1st - 4th QUARTER

What is a weekly home Learning Plan?

Weekly Home Learning Plan (WHLP). This refers to the instructional guide of learners prepared by teachers as per DM-CI-2020-00162.

The Weekly Home Learning Plan shall aid teachers and parents in keeping track of the day-to-day in-school and off-school general learning processes as they implement the most suitable and feasible alternative learning modality based on the context of their school.

Why is it important to have a weekly home Learning Plan?

Weekly planning is important for teachers to get into the habit of, as it reinforces a regular teaching schedule and pattern, and can keep the class from becoming distracted and deviating from the overall plan.

What is difference between WLP and WHLP?

With the expansion of face-to-face classes, a DepEd Order was issued on the 6th of April that changes the Weekly Home Learning Plan (WHLP) to a Weekly Learning Plan (WLP).

Gatchalian made the statement in defiance of the earlier recommendation of Pasig City Rep. Roman Romulo that the basic needs in education should be focused. According to Gatchalian, “I agree with him that let’s go back to basics. Emphasize on reading, emphasize also on Math because these are two foundational skills that students will use for the rest of their lives.” “Reading is a basic skill that they need to learn and strengthen. You cannot go to history, you cannot go to complicated subjects without knowing how to read and Mathematics is the foundation for science and innovation,” he said further. Gatchalian insisted that the curriculum must be studied as a whole. Moreover, the senator said, “We cannot just say oh, let’s subtract grade one, grade ...
